Douglas W. Ahrens has practiced law in Washington since 1979. For approximately 20 years his primary practice focus was civil litigation, including appeals. Since 1999, he has limited his practice to business and real estate transactions and estate planning. He has experience with a wide variety of business and real estate transactions and issues, from the complex and unusual to the basic and every-day. His extensive background in litigation gives him a valuable perspective in advising clients on transactional matters.
Mr. Ahrens is a member of the following Washington State Bar Association Sections: Business Law; , Real Property, Probate and Trust; Taxation. He obtained his Juris Doctor from the University of Washington and graduated cum laude from Pacific Lutheran University. He was also an officer in the US Navy from 1969-1995 (regular and reserve).
