James A Jackson is admitted to the bars of New York and Washington. He concentrates in matters of Civil Litigation, Real Property, Probate and Trust Administration, Guardianship, and Personal Injury. He has practiced since 1992.
Mr. Jackson is a member of the Washington State Bar Association, Washington State Trial Lawyers Association, and the King County Bar Association. He graduated from the State University of New York at Stony Brook in 1988 and went on to earn his Juris Doctor at Touro College.
Mr. Jackson’s practice is concentrated in residential and commercial dispute resolution, emphasizing real estate, related lending matters, and residential and commercial contract disputes. He has successfully represented clients at both the trial court level in matters involving commercial leases; real property purchase and sale agreements; real property boundary and easement disputes; adverse possession claims; property contamination; broker commissions; owner association disputes; business partnerships; and trust litigation. He also has extensive experience in enforcement of the Mortgage Broker’s Practices Act, Regulation Z and the Consumer Protection Act against lenders and other perpetrators of foreclosure rescue scams.
He also has considerable experience in forming business entities and in advising businesses on operational and personnel issues. He also represents a number of non-profit organizations
